LONGAY CONSERVATORY OF GUITAR DOCUMENT / UPDATED : SEPTEMBER 27, 2010

Many guitarists have discovered an effective direction in their teaching as well as found a sense of personal fulfillment as a result of embracing the Suzuki approach in bringing music to the lives of families and children. The success of the Suzuki Method™ relies heavily on thorough and well organized teacher development. Training is offered at centers around the world. Short–term, long–term and aprenticeship programs are offered to maintain the highest possible standards.

Here’s what teachers have said...

Thank you so much for sharing your wisdom, teaching methods, and depth of commitment with us. The difference it makes in the lives of children and their families is amazing. I only hope I can continue what you started with the integrity and love you exude. What a wonderful week! I will miss everyone!

&mdash Mary Legge, Calgary, AB

Just wanted to thank you for a very inspiring week. You’ve set a high standard for us all by example as a musician and teacher, and through your personal integrity, and I know we all want to live up to that.

&mdash Mychal Gendron, Rhode Island

Frank, your class was AWESOME. I loved the presentation of the Book III material, and also your idea of having each of us teach the class as a group class.

&mdash Jamie Williams–Grossman, New York

I have had so much fun and learned even more about myself as a teacher than I ever thought possible. Last night I had group class and I was excited all day because I kept thinking that as soon as 6:00 rolled around I would get to teach 9 awesome little guitarists...I just can't get enough of it. The support from all of my parents is wonderful.

Thank you for showing me how to teach and how to see the potential in every kid! When I walk down the street and I see a small kid I think to myself I should be teaching them about music and I have to resist the urge to ask their parents if I can! Suzuki Baby and Toddler class is a riot too. I can’t wait for Saturday mornings so we can sing silly songs and beat drums. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

&mdash Sarah, Bismarck, North Dakota
